Naturalness and purity

« A development (industrial, social, economic..) is admissable as long as the natural balance is respected, at local level as well as at a planetary level, while exploiting natural resources. No ‘notable’ or ‘unnatural’ modification of the different parameters of the environment should be provoked; the only modifications should be limited in space as well as in time. »

This principle of naturalness was proposed by B.Comby, european ecologist, in order to define the acceptability of changes provoked by man on environmental parameters.

This principle completes (but does not replace) the precautionary principle, of which a too restrictive interpretation could mean doing nothing. It defines, simply, what is admissable or not.

PERLAMANDE’s procedures respect this principle by using traditional working methods to manufacture products from organically produced ingredients.

The “pearl” almond, well-sheltered from pollution inside its triple protection, is a perfect emblem of naturalness and purity: it must not be denatured by a brutal industrial process. That is why PERLAMANDE uses exclusively careful transformation methods that preserve all the qualities of this nut so tasty and so full of virtues.

The consumers of PERLAMANDE products can thus be sure that their requirements are met: The food is pure and safe, healthy, and comes from a sustainable development that is fair for the producers who are conscious of the need to preserve the planet and the future of humanity.
