The nutritional quality of our products depends on the nutritional values of all of the fried Organic fruits used in the preparation of the Perl’Amande product. Rich in “good” lipids, proteins, vitamins, minerals and fibre, cholesterol-free, lactose-free, gluten-free and without preservatives, the 100% dry fruit butters made by Perl’Amande have a natural flavour and can be used in both sweet and savoury recipes to replace fatty ingredients such as oil, butter and margarine.

About almonds

They are concentrated with nutrients which are beneficial to our organism in high proportions to other foods:
- They contain essential fatty acids (oleic acid, a mono-unsaturated fatty acid, and linoleic acid, a polyunsaturated fatty acid) which help to reduce “bad cholesterol” and act to prevent cardiovascular disease. Almonds are also entirely cholesterol-free.
?- Vitamin E plays an important role in protecting the heart, blood vessels, red blood cells and a variety of other tissues. 50 g of almonds provide the daily Recommended Nutritional Intake (RNI) of this Vitamin.
?- Several group B Vitamins: B1 is involved in the transmission of nerve impulses and the disposal of waste from the metabolism, B2 contributes to skin health, B5 promotes cellular activity within mucus membranes and the skin, B6 plays an important role in the functioning of the nervous system and immune system and B9 is very important before pregnancy and during early pregnancy for the proper formation of the foetus.
?- Vitamin PP promotes healthy bowel movements and reduces hunger sensations.
?- Rich in minerals (potassium, magnesium, calcium and phosphorous) and containing more magnesium than chocolate, regular consumption helps to reduce nervousness, anxiety and muscular cramps and spasms.
?- Their protein content (21%) makes them as rich a source as meat.

Other dry fruits

These are highly nourishing, easily digested and rich in proteins, they are an excellent source of minerals and have worming properties, they are also effective for lowering "bad" cholesterol.

Cashew nuts:
They hold the record for magnesium content (250 mg per gram), are remarkably nourishing, easy to digest and full of energy, they are also beneficial for intestinal function. They are an excellent source of iron, copper and zinc.

Sesame seeds:
Rich in composites, sesame seeds have anti-oxidant properties and help protect the cardio-vascular system. They are rich in fibre and minerals and good for remineralisation, cleaning and combating arthritis. They are an excellent complement to almonds in that they provide an amino acid, methionine, which is particularly good for children.

Pistachios :
These are very low in fat and rich in iron, phosphorous and potassium..

Perl’Amande has decided against using this dry fruit in order to prevent contamination which may lead to allergic reactions.
